Make Your Own Wedding Bands
Make it a truly special day. Make your own design led Wedding / Commitment bands with established jewellery designer Vicky Davies in her beautiful garden studio in Hackney. Make your rings from wire or sheet metal or carve in wax.
This is a one day workshop where you will guided by Vicky to make and design your own wedding rings. Vicky has thirty years experience as a jewellery designer and maker and offers a wide range of design options from traditional to something more unique.

PRE-MEETING
I will arrange a pre-workshop meeting with you in good time before the workshop date. It can be in person at my workshop or, if that's difficult I can do a Zoom or Skype. The meeting takes around an hour. Bring any ideas you might have as well as an idea of your budget before the meeting.
We will discus design, shape, metals and any texture decoration. I have a selection of samples to help you with your choice. I will also measure your ring sizes. The metals I can offer are yellow gold, white gold or rose gold in 9ct, 18ct, 14ct gold or alternatively silver.
We can also then confirm a date for the Workshop Day. Once we have established the design I will then be able to price up the materials for you and give you a quote and invoice you. I ask for payment upfront. The cost is £155 each plus material costs. Metals are charged wholesale cost plus a 25% surcharge.
EXTRAS
Rings can be assay hallmarked,engraved or small stones set for example small diamonds,sapphire or rubies. But please allow extra time after making as these services are out sourced and can take a couple of weeks.
I also offer a recycling gold service. If you have any gold please bring to the pre meeting to see if suitable for recycling.
ON THE DAY TIME AND PLACE
The workshop starts around 11 am and usually takes around four hours making time with an extra hour added for lunch. I am based in Hackney just off Stoke Nwington Common.
We can take photos/vidios during and at the end of the day.
Bring your own lunch. I provide a selection of teas or coffee.
