WHAT I DO
Based in North East London I am an established jewellery designer and maker. I specialize in 'one-to-one' bespoke pieces & commissions, whether a special gift or something personal to treasure. 
Engagement, wedding and eternity rings, seal and engraved rings, corporate gifts, personalized birth pendants, bracelets, and memorial jewellery. I also offer a remodeling heirloom service . 

MATERIALS METALS & GEMSTONES

I work with recycled & fair trade gold and silver. Including yellow, rose and white gold of all carats.  STONES are my passion and I have a good selection of Fairtrade Gemstone Suppliers. Fancy Coloured Sapphires, Natural and Coloured Diamonds, Lab Diamonds, Tourmaline's, Opals, Rubys, Emeralds and Spinel's to name but a few.

HOW IT WORKS

Please email,call or text with your enquiry to set up a meeting to discuss your requirements and some idea of budget. Its important that you know how much roughly you want to spend as that will influence what carat of gold and what choice of stone.  The process can take around 4 to 6 weeks in total depending on whats required. It may require a few meetings in person or via emails along the way.  I also offer remodeling service so if you have any gold or stones you want to recycle I can do this for you.

STUDIO VISIT

If you are local then I will usually ask you to meet with me at my studio (or set up a video call if that's not possible) for a free consultation.  I ask you to bring any pictures or ideas with you of what you have in mind.  I can show you some samples and other ready made pieces as well as an idea of metals choices, shapes and stones. Or If you wish to remodel an existing piece you can show me at the consultation.
We’ll talk through what’s possible, and take any measurements such as ring size and I can do some rough sketches if required.

 NEXT STAGE DESIGN & QUOTE

If you are happy to go ahead and trust that I can deliver what you are looking for I ask for a  design fee which is taken off final cost. Depending on what’s required I may have sourced a selection of stones for you to view and choose.
I will email drawings and sketches or technical drawing, sometimes a choice of two or three.  When we’ve agreed on the design. I can then give you an accurate quote and if you are happy I then ask for 50% cost for the materials costs.

MAKING STAGE

Once the design is agreed I can then start the making process, sending you pictures or video's of the progress at any stage if required. Sometimes I may make a model in silver before going onto make it in gold. When the ring is made and before its ready for setting I may ask you for a final fitting. If the ring is a surprise, which is often the case Its not a problem to have the ring resized later. This would all be included in the cost. All pieces are hallmarked at The London Assay office.

 

COMPLETION

When the ring is finished and you are happy with it I will ask for the final balance minus the design fee on completion.

PAYMENT & TERMS

A non-refundable design fee is payable at the design stage once the budget is agreed, with a further payment for materials usually of 50% of the total, once work has progressed. The remaining balance is payable on completion, when everything is to your satisfaction.
